Missing Persons Information

In the mid-2000’s, the Washington State Legislature tasked the Washington Association of Sheriffs and Police Chiefs (WASPC) to create and maintain a statewide website, which shall be available to the public. The website shall post relevant information concerning persons reported missing in the State of Washington (see RCW 36.28A.110). The Washington State Patrol provides data to WASPC for the purpose of the missing persons website (see RCW 36.28A.120). Data is received from the Washington State Patrol daily.

To report a missing person, please contact your local law enforcement agency. WASPC cannot take reports for missing persons.

If you have any questions regarding the Washington Missing Persons Website, please contact the WASPC Projects and Programs Department at [email protected] or (360) 486-2414.
