WASPC, in partnership with the Western States Information Network (WSIN), has developed WAGang to be the sole statewide gang database. This database is currently being populated with gang member records by WAGang Gatekeepers (gang experts who have received specialized training and are the only officers allowed to submit records into the database). Officers with full WSIN accounts have been able to search the database for some time.  WSIN now has the ability to create limited (WAGang access only) accounts that are designed to allow patrol officers and detectives to directly access the system with read-only privileges. These accounts will also have access to the WAGang SharePoint site, which will contain the WAGang policies and procedures as well as additional gang intelligence and documents.

To obtain a WAGang access account:
  • Click here to self-register for the WAGang End User Training.
  • View the online training module, which will cover access and navigation of the system, the criminal intelligence system guidelines under 28 CFR Part 23, and the flow of intelligence from the field to their local Gatekeeper.
  • Once the training is completed, you will be provided a certificate of completion and WAGang Security Control Card (SCC). Complete and submit the Security Control Card to WSIN in order to obtain a WAGang account.
  • If you have trouble self-registering for the training, please contact [email protected] or (360) 486-2414.
Please direct any questions regarding WAGang to [email protected] or (800) 952-5258.
