Association of State UCR Programs Conference

WASPC is hosting the Association of State UCR Programs Conference at the Red Lion Hotel on Fifth in Seattle on October 5-8. The Association meets annually in varying states and this year we are fortunate to have the opportunity to attend without extensive travel.

This conference is a great way for your agency to learn more about NIBRS. Since the state is moving to NIBRS, it would also be beneficial to have the input of local law enforcement agencies. This year’s agenda includes presentations on how NIBRS data can be used, crime mapping projects, crime in schools, juvenile crime research using NIBRS, and much more. The FBI will also be presenting various topics related to crime reporting, including the N-DEx project.

There is a one day registration fee of $150 or take in the entire conference for $250. For more information on the ASUCRP please go to the association website: www.asucrp.net or contact Linda Schaffel (360) 486-2380.

The conference will be at the Red Lion Hotel on Fifth in Seattle. The special conference rate is $158 single/$178 double per night. When making reservations please let them know you are with the ASUCRP to get this rate. The hotel phone number is: 1-800-504-3909.
